Reliving the Moment: A Look Back at the Triple A Festival '25

Innovation and artistry converged once again at the Ateneo de Naga University as the Ateneo Arts and Algorithms (Triple A) Festival 2025 unfolded—a celebration that transformed the campus into a hub of creativity, collaboration, and technological excellence. Spearheaded by The Ateneo Consortium of Technological, Information, and Computing Sciences (TACTICS) and the Pioneers of Ignatian eXpressive Electronic Arts and Learning Society (PIXELS), the week-long event showcased the evolving harmony between art and technology, marking another milestone in the College of Computer Studies’ pursuit of innovation and Ignatian excellence.

A Festival Reborn: From LA’AD to Triple A
Two years after the LA’AD Festival first ignited the flames of creativity and innovation within the Ateneo de Naga University (AdNU) community, that spark has evolved into something even brighter: the Triple A Festival 2025. What began as La’ad—meaning “to ignite” in Bicol—has now transformed into a dynamic fusion of art and technology, powered by the joint efforts of PIXELS and TACTICS.

This reimagined celebration marked a new chapter for the College of Computer Studies (CCS), blending expressive creativity with the precision of computing to empower the rising innovators of art and technology. ribbon cutting.JPG

The Vision: Where Art Meets Algorithm
Behind the vibrant exhibitions, competitions, and talks lay a shared mission between PIXELS and TACTICS—to create a space where art and innovation could converge.

Together, these two organizations envisioned a four-day convergence of minds, held from October 13 to 16, 2025, across various venues within the AdNU campus.

Through a diverse lineup of academic, creative, and recreational events, the festival sought to strengthen the values of community, inclusivity, and growth, cultivating an atmosphere where every participant could learn, showcase, and celebrate their craft.

A Celebration of Innovation and Passion
techtalk.jpg This year’s festival radiated energy, intellect, and imagination. From Tech Talks that bridged classroom concepts with real-world applications to the SparkLAB Hackathon that challenged students across the Bicol Region to design and build solutions within just 24 hours, innovation truly took center stage.

Shared Moments of Joy and Creativity

From participants donning their favorite characters to teams engaged in Valorant and Mobile Legends, among others, the sense of connection across colleges was undeniable.

ccs night.jpg The festivities culminated in the much-anticipated CCS Night, which concluded the week with elegance and joy. Highlighted by a vibrant fireworks display, the evening served as a fitting tribute to the talent, perseverance, and unity of the CCS community.

In Gratitude: The People Behind the Festival
group.jpg The Triple A 2025 Festival was not just an event—it was a grand celebration of the CCS Week 2025, a time defined by creativity, collaboration, and community spirit.

We extend our sincerest gratitude to everyone who made Triple A 2025 possible—our hardworking BITS Volunteers, dedicated DART Volunteers, and the ever-creative PIXELS team who brought ideas to life. To all our faculty members who actively supported, guided, and inspired our students every step of the way, thank you for being the heart of CCS. Our deepest appreciation also goes to our Department Chairs—DACA, DCS, and INFODEPT—for their leadership and encouragement, as well as to our College Dean and the Office of the Vice President for Higher Education (VPHE) for their steadfast support throughout the event’s journey.

To the students, organizers, mentors, and every individual who contributed in any capacity—you are the reason Triple A 2025 became such a resounding success. Your creativity, energy, and collaboration transformed this week into a memorable celebration of talent and innovation.

What Comes Next
More than a week-long festivity, the Triple A Festival 2025 stands as a symbol of how art and technology can unite to inspire change—a reflection of what the Ateneo community can achieve when imagination meets innovation.

With renewed inspiration and gratitude, TACTICS looks ahead to the future—ready to build, collaborate, and continue empowering the next generation of creators, artists, and technologists. fireworks.JPG
