NFTPadala crowned champions at 2025 Quantum & Blockchain Hackathon

NFTPadala clinched the championship title at the Quantum Computing and Blockchain Hackathon 2025, held at the Madrigal Amphitheater, Ateneo de Naga University, on June 19, 2025. Organized by the Quantum Computing Society of the Philippines (QCSP) in partnership with AdNU Information and Communications Technology Center (ICTC), the event marked the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology, empowering students to innovate at the intersection of quantum computing and blockchain.

The team, proudly composed of CCS bets Selwyn John Guiruela, Martin Edgar Atole, Jorge Creiann Jarme, Justin Ira Natividad, and John Kristoffer Bicierro, under the guidance of Kevin Vega, wowed judges and industry experts with their groundbreaking solution, securing the top prize of ₱10,000.

Team W and HAHWIW followed closely, earning first and second runner-up spots with ₱7,000 and ₱5,000 prizes, respectively.

The hackathon united student innovators from across the region, with keynotes and support from QCSP and the DOST Advanced Science and Technology Institute (DOST-ASTI), Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), CSPC ASOG TBI, and AdNU MAGIS TBI.
